Graphics
After an element is designed and tabs are placed, graphics can be applied. These can consist of expanses of brick or clapboard or shingles. Although the basic shape outline can be used to fill with a color or pattern, the designer may not want the tabs to be included in the graphic or there may be more than one graphic needed (like a brick first story and clapboard second story). A non-cutting shape should be drawn that exactly matches the area for the graphic, then that can be placed over the element’s cut-line and filled with color or pattern. Smaller graphics like doors, porch lights, window frames, etc. can then be applied. After “decorating” an element, check it in the SEND panel to be sure all unwanted cut lines are disabled. Then return to the DESIGN panel and group that element.
